Model detail pending review

Exact attachment footprints and tendon/aponeurosis boundaries await review. Original anatomy is retained; surface material does not establish tissue segmentation.

Basic surface material processed; full sample matching, tissue-transition gradients and evidence-backed directional detail remain incomplete.

Pectoralis Major

Whole muscle / group

Form & position: A thick fan-shaped superficial chest muscle. Clavicular fibers run generally inferolaterally, while sternocostal fibers converge toward the humerus at different angles. Its layered insertion cannot be represented by a single set of parallel fibers.
Actions: Shoulder adduction and medial rotation; clavicular fibers flex the shoulder, and sternocostal fibers can extend a flexed arm.

These notes describe the named whole muscle or group. A selected head or subdivision may represent only part of it; not all listed attachments or actions apply to each subdivision.
